Our Muslim Neighbor Network
Since 2012 the Our Muslim Neighbor team has been lead by a crew of researchers and staff out of Religions for Peace USA’s offices in New York. Since 2013 we’ve been working with grassroots allies at Faith and Culture Center | Our Muslim Neighbor Initiative in Nashville, Tn.
As of January 2016 our work has expanded to Knoxville, Tennessee and St. Cloud, Minnesota. As we grow, the strength of this movement giving voices to all Muslim Americans, decrying misinformation and stereotypes, and creating a culture that makes religious prejudice and bigotry socially unacceptable.
Religions for Peace USA is the largest and most broadly-based representative multi-religious forum in the United States, with participants from more than 50 religious communities, representing each of the major faith traditions. Our work is committed to advancing and inspiring actions for peace in the U.S.

Faith and Culture Center | Our Muslim Neighbor Nashville is our pilot program: OMN supports a staff of 3 wonderful leaders in Middle Tennessee and their success is testament enough to their hard work!
Religions for Peace USA – Knoxville was formed in January 2016 and has been carrying out monthly A Seat at the Table dinners since. RfPUSA – Knoxville is lead by a core team of 12 Knoxville religious leaders, committed to building a more diverse and just community
Knoxville Evangelical Pastors Focus Group started in May of 2015 and have been meeting quarterly since. In 2016 they elected to carry out a year long process of listening session in their congregations.
