Muslims believe in a final day called the Day of Judgment.  It is a place where people who have been good in their lives will stay for eternity by God’s mercy. Those who reject God and have not led good, virtuous lives will go to Hell by God’s judgment. Paradise is beautiful, with gardens and mansions. Hell is awful, with fires, winds, and boiling waters.

Muslims believe that Allah controls everything that happens, including death. A person only dies if Allah permits it. Only Allah knows when this day will come. On the Day of Judgement, Allah will destroy everything on Earth. Everyone who has ever lived will be judged by Allah.
