Kamel Daouk, originally from Lebanon, is the Vice President of MKD International, which he started with his two bothers in 1988 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nashville stood out to the Daouk brothers to start their business because of the great distribution possibilities. Following the ethos of the American Dream, Daouk believes that it does not matter where you are from or who you are when it comes to achieving great things, what matters is what you bring to the table.
Daouk is originally from Lebanon and is involved in the Muslim community in Nashville. He wants to educate Americans on Islam and help bring to everyone’s attention that Muslims are a part of American society. Daouk notes how many of the principles of Islam overlap with the principles of a democratic society.
In his free time, Daouk loves to hike locally in Nashville and in Tennessee.
